#PotterOut has been trending on Twitter in the United Kingdom after Chelsea headed into half-time 3-0 down at the Amex.
Potter, who was unbeaten as Chelsea manager heading into today’s fixture, would’ve been desperate to get one over on his former side this afternoon.
Considering Brighton were without a win in their five previous Premier League games, he must’ve thought that they had a fighting chance of it, too.
However, after a truly catastrophic structural collapse in the Chelsea side, his men trotted down the tunnel for half-time 3-0 down to the Seagulls.
Rather unsurprisingly, such is the nature of the football club, there are Chelsea fans who are already calling for Potter’s head on the chopping block.
#PotterOut found its way into the top trends in the United Kingdom as a consequence of Chelsea’s awful first-half showing on the south coast…
Chelsea fans that rate this man obviously don’t watch our gsmes. We’ve been outplayed by every thing we play, no clear formation, no tactics whatsoever. Completely clueless. Sadly Kepa couldn’t save us today. The man is useless. #PotterOut
