Marc Guehi has officially completed his move to Crystal Palace – and many Chelsea fans on Twitter aren’t best pleased about it.
Guehi is the latest future star to be produced from Chelsea’s academy. The Blues have been continuously churning them out over recent seasons.
After a stellar campaign with Swansea City, you wondered if he was going to return to his parent club and fight for minutes under Thomas Tuchel.
However, it was confirmed on Sunday that Guehi had completed a permanent move to Crystal Palace.

Though Chelsea are well-equipped at centre-back, Thiago Silva, Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta are all in the final year of their respective contracts.
While you’d expect most of those sign extensions, having a promising 21-year-old centre-back at your disposal, especially under those circumstances, is a blessing.
Yet, Chelsea decided to cash-in on Guehi, who will now be embarking on his career with Crystal Palace, rather than the club he has played for since he was just seven years old.
As you’d probably expect, there’s a fair few Chelsea fans on Twitter who aren’t particularly happy about it.
Marc Guehi has today signed for Crystal Palace on a permanent deal.
Good luck, Marc! 👊

I’m genuinely livid at that. Probably one of our best academy graduates right now. We better turn the cash into Haaland because otherwise what’s the point in selling him?

Stupid decision why do you keep signing average foreign center half’s when we have high quality young defenders coming through, Tomori and Guehi should be in and around the 1st team

Another potentially great defender leaving the club.
