Chelsea are at a precarious point in their history – that is clear. The club need to complete a sale before the end of the month in order to continue to operate under the license they have been provided with by the government.
If they are unable to do so, for whatever reason, the likelihood is that they will be plunged into administration around about the time that the summer transfer window kicks off. Needless to say, nothing good will follow for the Blues.
