Will Thomas Tuchel Survive as the Chelsea Boss?

The 49 year old German and former Stuttgarter Kickers central defender Thomas Tuchel is off to a ropey start in his second full year as the Chelsea boss.

Chelsea have now lost two, drawn one and won two, thus far in the league. Fans are starting to worry, as Chelsea players have a history of throwing down tools on previous managers, which result in a new manager coming in..

The Chelsea boss was speaking to the media last night and said; “As a team we are not strong enough at the moment. It’s too easy to push us off track. Defending these goals has nothing to do with attack. You cannot prove it with data or body position or tactical positions. Just toughen up.”

The Blues were left to lick the wounds of two costly defeats on their travels, just five games into the new campaign.

Chelsea can expect to slip further down the table after Wednesday’s fixtures, with Tuchel’s rebuilding job clearly boasting great promise but not yet delivering. The games tonight should be extremely worth a watch on free football streams.

Tuchel was also speaking to BT Sport and said: “We started well in all the games but obviously we are struggling with our focus and consistency in matches. We struggled to find answers and find the way back if things don’t go in our direction. Things did go in our direction today but then we struggled after the equaliser.

“I don’t know if concern is the right word. I absolutely dislike to lose, it is the second time this season and I don’t think it takes a lot to beat us and this I don’t like.

“We try to win matches and the way we do this is something we need to understand as fast as possible. I also don’t understand why we are in this situation with injuries to all midfield.”

Chelsea will take on West Ham United on Saturday afternoon and talk about a massive game for both managers. If Chelsea hope to stay in the hunt for the Premier League this season, it’s a game at home that they simply have to win against their London rivals.

David Moyes’ men are currently fourth from the bottom a place that the Scot will want to get out of ASAP, so expect fireworks on Saturday afternoon between both clubs. This is exactly why we love about the Premier League every game there are absolutely huge stakes on the line.
