The 26 year old German striker Timo Werner could be set to leave Stamford Bridge for the Tyneside club Newcastle United. According to Sport1 the former Stuttgart player will be allowed leave the West side of London for £33 million. It really hasn’t worked for the German since Frank Lampard brought him in two years ago.
Surely a move to Newcastle would be a great call for him and the Toon Army?
Werner was linked with a move to Newcastle shortly after their takeover (according to journalist Christian Falk), so a move could potentially materialise in the summer.
