Chelsea football club aimed a sly dig at Arsenal after Jorginho completed his move to the neighbouring London club.
Arsenal did not completely turn their back to the market after their proposed deal for priority target, Moises Caicedo fell through. Instead, they fell back on their Plan B, Jorginho, who left Stamford Bridge for the Emirates in a deal worth £12 million.

Despite his age, the signing of the Italian midfielder was a shrewd piece of business for Arsenal and it was also good for Chelsea.
But his former club couldn’t help but aim a parting shot at Arsenal with their official statement regarding Jorginho’s move.
The statement read:
“Many of Jorginho’s best performances came in European competition. He starred in Baku at the end of his first season when we thumped Arsenal 4-1, and the midfielder played a pivotal role en route to Champions League glory in 2021.”
