The Uruguay International Edinson Cavani was left out of the Manchester United squad on Saturday for their one all draw against Southampton at Old Trafford in the early kick-off. Former Kerry football Darren O’Sullivan has asked; ‘What’s Cavani’s story? Is he ever available for two games in a row?’

The former three time All-Ireland winner is obviously a Manchester United fan and must be deeply concerned with the Red Devils performances and Cavani’s fitness. When the South American does play for the Red Devils he is a serious addition. But at the age of 37 he seriously struggles for fitness, surely we won’t see him a red jersey again next season?
