Offaly won the All-Ireland Under 20 Championship today at Croke Park against Roscommon on a scoreline of 1-11 (14) Offaly 1-14 in a cracking game of football and you can only be happy for the faithful county after what’s been a tough few years in both codes. But with Michael Duignan and Shane Lowry both putting their back into getting Offaly back to the top again, the good times could be coming home.
Offaly have always been a great GAA county in both codes, but have failed tom complete over the last number of years, largely dues to the advantages all the others county’s have. This win will definitely help the Offaly cause, well done to their U20’s Hon the Faithful county.
