Carlton Cole makes big Liverpool admission amid shaky Reds run

Former West Ham striker Carlton Cole says that he thinks Chelsea are in a better position to sign players moving forward than Liverpool.

Cole said on Talksport last night that Chelsea’s feisty January window, where they spent over £300million, is a big bonus when it comes to convincing more players to join the club, whereas Liverpool will struggle to attract players in the future.

Where Chelsea have the advantage over them is that they’ve brought in most of the ones they’ve wanted, and the ones they’ve got now will attract other players, even if they don’t get into the Champions League next season. Players attract players.”
