Carl Froch was not overly impressed with one heavyweight’s recent performance.
Joe Joyce returned to the ring against Kash Ali earlier this month, and although he won by a late stoppage he looked tentative at times and still very easy to hit with an overhand right.

The Heavyweight was returning to action after suffering back-to-back defeats to Zhilei Zhang and Ali was thought to be a nice warm-up for Joyce before he takes on bigger challenges.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Froch On Fighting, Carl Froch, gave his assessment on Joyce.

He said: “I think he struggled, He won, he was busy like he usually is, but he took too many punches on the chin.”
“And we saw it, when he stepped up to the world level, Zhilei Zhang done him twice and that second one was a bad knockout.

“Joe Joyce showed me that he probably should think about hanging his gloves up”, said Froch.
