🚨 Carl Froch responds to John Fury’s Wembley fight call out

Carl Froch has hit back at John Fury.

Fury, 59, hasn’t taken too kindly to ‘The Cobra’s’ recent comment about his son Tyson where the former world champion questioned the injury suffered by ‘The Gypsy King’ and his resume.

This bizarrely led to Fury senior to call out Froch for a scrap at Wembley stadium infront of 93,000 fans.

In a video he said: “Video to Carl The Snake Froch. You’re having plenty to say mate on your little podcast channel. John Fury’s rung the bell for you again, got you plenty of content, plenty of viewing figures that you were after. Listen, your mate George Groves said something very interesting. You and me, Wembley Stadium, 93,000 crowd. I’m up for that my friend.”

As expected Froch has scoffed at the attention seeking video by Fury and gone in. On his YouTube channel ‘Froch On Fighting’ he responded:

“The Cobra’s still in outrageous, chiselled shape. If you were stood across the ring from me with 10oz gloves on it wouldn’t last very long. And if you’re talking about kicking me up the a**e and giving me a slap when you see me, that’s a totally different story. That’s a roll around on the cobbles, and trust me you don’t want to go there with me.”

He continued: “[Wembley] is not gonna happen John. Misfits are talking about maybe something happening, if that’s got any legs we’ll have to speak to Kalle Sauerland, but if any kind of fight was gonna materialise for me and you, it wouldn’t be for financial gain. I’m sorry to burst your bubble. There’s no money to be had. If this stupidity becomes real because of the Misfits scene … I’d be doing it for charity.”
