Our thoughts are with Glenn, his family and his friends now and we wish him a speedy recovery.
It’s terrible for this to happen, especially as he is celebrating his 61st birthday today.
Today we hear the news that Glenn fell ill earlier in the BT Studios while preparing for their Saturday show, he has now been rushed to hospital where he’s being looked after.
The family have asked for privacy at this time, but people are still banding together on social media to show their support for the legend.
Our friend & colleague Glenn Hoddle was taken seriously ill at the BT Sport studio this morning.
For that reason there will be no @btsportscore – but we will be live as usual for the 5.30 ko at Leicester.
Everyone of us is right with you Glenn, sending love & strength ❤️
