An old Carl Froch interview has resurfaced where he claims that the Earth is ‘flat’ and that ‘fake’ Nasa generate CGI photos of the globe.
The former super middleweight champion has joined a worryingly long list of people who think the Earth is not round but just a flat surface.
Froch appeared on the Pound for Pound podcast in 2019, which is hosted by Jake Wood and Spencer Oliver. The conversation took a slight detour, from boxing to conspiracy theories. The 45-year-old retired fighter admitted that he doesn’t believe that the Earth is round.
“The Earth is flat, 100 per cent,” Froch said.
“There’s no proof of the Earth’s curvature and this fake space agency ‘NASA’, use CGI images and every one is different.
“I’m looking at them thinking, ‘Hang on a minute, they’re like cartoons’,”
Froch explained that he would only believe that the Earth is round if he can see it with his own eyes.
“When someone like Richard Branson goes up there and starts doing chartered flights like they’re talking about doing and you can look back on Earth and see the Earth’s curvature, I’ll believe the Earth is a globe,”
This isn’t the first occasion where Froch has gone out of his way to bring up his flat Earth beliefs.
