Premier League ace Yves Bissouma arrested by police and led out of nightclub in handcuffs

Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma has reportedly been arrested.

As was reported by the Mirror last month, Bissouma has been linked with a move to Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Bissouma is ranked among the best players in the bottom half of the Premier League. Though, Brighton are showing ambition to challenge for higher honours than that.

Graham Potter may well have to do it without his star man in midfield, though, with Bissouma having reportedly been arrested.

That’s according to The Sun

Brighton fans will be hoping for some clarification on the nature of Bissouma’s alleged wrongdoing in due course.

As reported by Sky Sports, the club released a brief statement in wake of reports circulating on social media.

“Brighton & Hove Albion are aware that one of its players is assisting police with the investigation of an alleged offence.”

“The matter is subject to a legal process and the club is therefore unable to make further comment at this time.”

We await further details on the situation.
