Former Tipperary Legend Doesn’t Agree With Brian Cody’s Antics on the Sideline

The former Tipperary hurler Brendan Cummins and one of the best goalkeepers to ever play the game doesn’t agree with the way Brian Cody has held himself on the sideline and dealing with his former star player and now Galway manager. Speaking on RTE the Tipperary man said;

“I wouldn’t agree with it, I think you just walk down the sideline and shake hands and say ‘right, that’s it. Thanks very much’ and see you the next day and you move on.

“But he held the whole place in the palm of his hand last night with the cameras following him around and said I’d go over now in a minute or maybe I won’t.

“Brian Cody is just very dogged in how he goes about things and he’d have been delighted that he got one over on Henry.”

  1. Henry Shefflin a perfect Gentleman and a great sports person Brian Cody so sad 😞😥😢😔

  2. 🤣🤣🤣as if we here in Kilkenny give a crap what Cummins thinks, and good and all as he was as a goal keeper, he wasn’t any where as good as McGarry!

  3. Cody reminds me of the old school principal with the attitude my way or the highway. We had one in our school don’t like to see the younger great hurler beating him. Sad, sad, sad. Sure he would be nothing only the teacher only for the likes of the talented players like Shefflin and TJ Reed. If you can’t shake the hand of the man who brought you 10 all Ireland’s and give him a clap in the back and say well done then it is time to clock out and be an old grump. This comes from a man who is as old as Brian Cody. Grow up Brian.
