This afternoon’s Football Focus and Final Score broadcasts may not go ahead as more pundits and presenters refuse to represent the BBC.
Both Henry Winter and Talksport have reported this news, with Alex Scott among a host of other names to refuse to work on any BBC programmes as the Gary Lineker saga rages on.
Winter also confirmed on Twitter that all Premier League players will refuse to talk to the BBC in pre and post-match interviews this weekend, as he confirmed the PFA’s statement in conjunction with league members, the body saying: they “wanted to take a collective position to show support for those who have chosen not to be part of tonight’s programme.”

It remains to be seen whether anyone else will reject the offer to present Final Score or Football Focus, but one thing’s for sure, the BBC are now under a lot of pressure to sort this situation out.
