Barcelona very close to Signing Paco Alcacer for £25.6m From Valencia

Valencia forward Paco Alcacer is close to signing for La Liga champions Barcelona, and has already completed a medical ahead of the proposed move.

Alcacer was not involved in Valencia’s match against Eibar on Saturday. After the 1-0 defeat, Pako Ayesteran, the team’s coach, told reporters that the player was ‘not in the ideal situation to compete’.
