The pop band sensation Black Eyed Peas were in Galway at the weekend performing out of Pearce Stadium and at one stage one of the band members Will.I.Am. said that Ireland was part of the UK.
As you can imagine this was met with boos and he apologised straight away and even took to his twitter to respond to some of the tweets aimed at him.

If there’s one thing you don’t do and especially in Ireland, you don’t call the Irish British. No way should that ever happen and when it does your in big, big trouble as you can see from the tweets above. It was a hugely anticipated event in Galway, this was a bit of a disappointment to say the least.
