The biggest transfer of the 2022 summer transfer window has had the ‘here we go’ seal of approval from Fabrizio Romano.
Considering both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo both moved clubs last summer, it was hard to imagine that would ever be able to be eclipsed.
It likely won’t, but another of the world’s elite will be switching clubs this summer – and it’s Barcelona who are set to benefit.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona is all but done – it’s now understood to be at the ‘here we go’ stage…

Lewandowski is widely considered the best striker on the planet, so it’s quite the coup for Barcelona to be able to bring him in.
You do have to wonder how the Catalan giants are affording to pay for the deal, but Bayern Munich are evidently satisfied with the payment terms.
It’ll be a new challenge for Lewandowski. We can’t wait to see how he gets on in La Liga…
