The Glasgow club today have been hit with a fine for their fans holding up a banner at one of their games in Europe saying ‘f**k the Crown.’ Whether you’re a fan of the Royals or not, it probably wasn’t the best move by the Celtic fans to hold up a banner like this.
The Scottish champions have been fined €15,000 by UEFA’s control, ethics and disciplinary body over what was described as “a message not fit for a sporting event (ie a provocative banner)”.
