In a game in the Paraguayan football league between Sportivo Ameliano and 12 de Octubre, the home side were down to NINE men for the final stages after two players were shown red cards.
As you can imagine, the players were hanging on for dear life in the closing exchanges, with fan anxiety through the roof as their side desperately attempted to cling on to a valuable point.
While the players are ultimately the ones who will determine the outcome of the match, that’s not to say that the fans can have no influence at all, as one man in attendance proved for all to see.

The visitors were set to deliver a corner into the penalty area, DEEP into the seven minutes of injury time. A man in the stands ended up with a ball in his hands, with another by the flag ready to be delivered.
In a quite remarkable piece of execution, the man in question dropped the ball onto the other and sent it off the spot from which it was to be taken, delaying the taking of the corner kick.
This is quite extraordinary stuff – and we absolutely love to see it.
