(Podcast) Wallabies Out-half Bernard Foley🏉

Posted by

On this weeks Podcast we sit down and talk to former Waratahs and Wallabies Out-half Bernard Foley. Bernard has played for Australia over 70 times scoring over 600 points for the Wallabies which gave him the nickname ‘Iceman’.

Bernard is currently playing his rugby with Kubota Spears in Japan and hasn’t closed the door on making a return to the Australian jersey. With the Rugby World Cup in 2023 he could prove to be a vital asset for the Wallabies in France as the Green and Gold will look to win their third World Cup.

With a name like Bernard Foley, Bernard obviously has Irish connections, he’s fathers side of the family are from Ballyhooly in county Cork and maybe in a different life he could have lined out for Ireland. Bernard won a Super Rugby with the Waratahs and represented Australia in the sevens. At only 32 years of age the Sydney born ten still has a lot to give to the game and wouldn’t it be great to see him line out in the Green and Gold for Australia again in 2023.
