As preparations are going on all over the country for the start of the league, Cork manager Ben O’Connor has made a big statement by not including Sarsfield Jack O’Connor.

That’s according to Eoghan Cormican of the Irish Examiner who’s been reporting;

Every fella knows that we’ll be moving fellas on [if there is a] dip in form, you have to keep fellas on their toes, so all them fellas know there is a chance they could be called back in again.

I think that is fair on everyone. Them fellas get a chance to get back in and the fellas inside, if they are not performing, they’ll just have to step aside.

That’s what Cork manager Ben O’Connor had to say to the media on Monday, the three time All-Ireland winner means business and Cork supporters will be hoping his the man to deliver the Liam McCarthy cup.
