Ian Wright has announced that he will be taking a step back from the show at the end of this season.
The Arsenal legend made his debut on the show in 1997 despite still being a current player and has been an ever-present since.
Wright has been a prevalent figure in the world of football punditry since he retired from the game and after just turning 60 last month, has announced that he will be stepping down from Match of the Day.
He posted a series of Tweets explaining the reasons why.
