A Question of Sport has been axed after more than 50 years on screens.
Bosses at the BBC have said that dwindling ratings had forced them to call time on the show that first aired in 1970.

The BBC said that “due to inflation and funding challenges, difficult decisions have to be made, therefore Question of Sport is currently not in production at the moment”.
The longest-serving team captain was England rugby international Matt Dawson who appeared in the show for 17 years from 2004 to 2021.
