Barcelona are reportedly hoping to sign both Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen in the coming days.
Chelsea’s defence is one of the sturdiest in Europe, but Thomas Tuchel’s back-line could change considerably this summer.
The likes of Bayern Munich’s Niklas Sule and Sevilla’s Jules Kounde have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea likely to be in need of plugging gaps.
That’s because Cesar Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger are ALL out of contract come the end of June.
It remains to be seen at this point whether any of them will be extending their contracts with the Blues.

SPORT have cast doubt over Azpilicueta and Christensen’s continuation as Chelsea players by reporting that both are thought to be closing in on joining Barcelona.
The report claims that Barca have ramped up their efforts to convince both players to sign pre-contract agreements and they are now close to doing so.
The Spanish press can be hit and miss, so Chelsea fans face a nervous wait to discover whether that actually will be the case or either player could yet stay.
