Just when you thought Americans were grasping the concept of football they throw another grenade into their knowledge of the game.
During his first press conference with Chicago Fire, Bastian Schweinsteiger was asked one of the dumbest questions ever asked at a club football interview.
One journalist asked the former Manchester United player “is it fair expectation to see a clear pathway to a World Cup”…”for Chicago”.
Schweinsteiger is obviously confused and looks for an explanation but even when the Journalist is corrected he re-phrases the question and asks again, only to be told that Chicago will never be involved in a World Cup.
I mean come on, seriously dude?
