The Wallabies took on Los Pumas last night in pouring rain in Buenos Aires in a cracking game of rugby for such poor conditions.

Sorry but that's a total mess. Penalty given on 78:48, clock stopped on 79:12, "there will be a restart"… then no restart. #ARGvAUS

"60 seconds (playing time) from the time the team indicated their intention to do so" is dumb. 27 seconds passed between the penalty being given and the Wallabies choosing to kick for goal. That makes zero sense to me. The clock cant be running while a team decides. #ARGvAUS

I think the correct decision was made. The clock starts when the team makes their decision not when the penalty is given. I think that’s wrong but it’s the law as it stands. Then saying there will be a restart seemed wrong. But if he said it, he has to follow through. A mess
Clock doesn’t stop just because a penalty is blown and the shot clock only starts when you point to the sticks.
Also kind of stole the moment from the Wallabies. Would have been great to either celebrate the kick going over, or catch the restart (lol) and kick it out and celebrate. But Doleman gave them neither. Ended in confusion.

Todavia quiero saber porque el arbitro cobró penal en la ultima jugada.
