Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has claimed that he would win a Gunners WWE-style Royal Rumble.
Aubameyang’s love for the WWE is well-documented. The Gabonese international has previously been spotted attending the shows when they come to town.
As a result, he was quizzed by Sky Sports (via the Metro) over who would triumph in a Royal Rumble, were one to take place involving the Arsenal squad.
Aubameyang, who is seemingly the most clued-up in the dressing room when it comes to performing WWE moves, has backed himself to be the victor.
“I would win it, for sure. Because I’m a big fan I know how to do the moves and everything. I think I can win the Royal Rumble!”

As much as Aubameyang may have the technique in his locker, he’d do well to go toe-to-toe with the likes of Thomas Partey or Gabriel, who have the brute strength.
Regardless, we’d pay to see him Swanton Bombing his teammates, so the WWE ought to take advantage of his willingness and make this their next PPV card. It’d break records!
