Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is back in the side and back on the scoresheet, having netted a first-half place against West Brom.
Arsenal are playing in the second round of the Carabao Cup for the first time in over 25 years, which is testament to just how far they have fallen in recent years.
However, they still boast a striker who, when fit and firing, is among the best in the country.
We haven’t seen that version of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a little while, but he’s showed up at the Hawthorns this evening.
Here’s the first goal the Gabonese goal-machine netted, showcases his striker instincts by following in after Bukayo Saka’s initial effort at goal was saved.
GOAL! West Brom 0-1 Arsenal (Aubameyang, 17)
🗣 “Something to lift the mood for Mikel Arteta!”
Brilliant work from Saka in the build-up 🔥

Aubameyang was not done there, though. After Nicolas Pepe rattled the post, there he was in the right place at the right time AGAIN to find the back of the net.
GOAL! West Brom 0-2 Arsenal (Aubameyang, 45)
It’s a second for Aubameyang, and it’s almost as easy as his first.
How about Elneny’s pass to Pepe though 🔥

Granted, he’s facing an extremely rotated West Brom side tonight, but Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal fans alike will be delighted to see him back amongst the goals.
