Ashley Cole cable-tied during home invasion… as burglars threatened to cut off his FINGERS

England legend Ashley Cole previously fell victim to an armed robbery, during which the invaders threatened to cut off his fingers, according to The Sun.

As is mentioned in the report, Kurtis Dilks, 34, allegedly broke into Cole and partner Sharon Canu’s home in Surrey back in January 2020. During the break-in, he is accused of collating a selection of watches, mobile phones, expensive bags and headphones.

As per The Sun, Cole had his hands cable-tied behind his back while a gang of thieves ransacked his family home and conspired to cut off his fingers. The ordeal was described as “violent and ruthlessly executed,” with all involved fortunate not to have suffered any considerable physical damage.

Cole was reportedly forced to kneel in front of his children before being coated in Febreze in an attempt by the invaders to destroy all lingering DNA evidence. We cannot even begin to imagine how horrifying that must have been for him and the family which were present.

Cole is widely regarded as one of the finest left-backs ever to play the game, with his exploits for Arsenal, Chelsea and England earning international acclaim. We’re thankful that he was able to dial 999 as soon as they realised they were being burgled, because who knows what might have happened if he didn’t.
