AS Roma have confirmed that Daniele De Rossi will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
Long serving de Rossi will play his last game for Roma against Parma on Sunday May 26th before hanging up his boots on an 18 year career at the club.
De Rossi made 615 appearances for the Italian side in a career than spanned almost two decades scoring 63 goals and providing 54 assists in that time whilst also winning the Coppa Italia in 06/07, 07/08 plus the Supercoppa Italiana in 2007.
De Rossi will leave Roma as the clubs second highest leading appearance-maker behind Francesco Totti who made 786.
Almost 18 years after a fresh-faced local teenager named Daniele De Rossi made his #ASRoma debut against Anderlecht, the 35-year-old club captain will pull on the Giallorossi shirt for the final time against Parma.
It will be the end of an era.
