Fans have widely praised Aryna Sabalenka for what she did during her Wimbledon semi-final clash with Amanda Anisimova.
Both were fighting for a spot in the ladies’ final. After 20 minutes, the game was suspended due to a medical emergency.
The temperature rose inside the centre court, and one fan struggled in the heat and needed medical emergency.
Stewards rushed into the stands to help, and Sabalenka immediately stopped playing.
She moved to her chair to grab a bottle of water.

The Belarus tennis player then presented the cold water and an ice pack to a steward and told to give them to the spectators.
Soon after, fans climbed to their feet to applaud Sabalenka’s classy gesture at Wimbledon. She also earned rich praise from tennis fans on social media.
One fan wrote: “What a thoughtful and normal gesture.”
Another one wrote: “That’s the kind of grit and grace that makes Sabalenka unforgettable. Compassion on and off the court speaks volumes. Moments like these remind us why we love sports.”
There was another interruption when the players changed sides. Another spectator started to feel the heat, and Sabalenka handed out a water bottle once again.
While Sabalenka lost the match 4-6, 6-4, 4-6, she definitely won the hearts of the fans with her classy gesture.
