Arsenal’s Beth Mead has made it to the three-woman shortlist for the Best FIFA Women’s Player of the Year.
Mead has been recognised for her 2022 performances after being the top scorer at Euro 2022, which England won after they beat Germany 2-1 in the final at Wembley.
Mead joins Barcelona forward and current Ballon D’or holder Alexia Putellas, and also USA and San Diego Wave striker Alex Morgan on the shortlist, with the winner set to be announced on February 27th.
