Arsenal winger Willian is thought to be keen on returning to Chelsea – just a year after departing Stamford Bridge, according to Sky Sports.
Willian, who signed for the Blues back in the summer of 2013, was one of their most influential players of the 2010s, winning two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League.
However, upon the expiration of his contract last summer, the Brazilian decided to complicate his relationship with the Chelsea fanbase by deciding to sign for Arsenal, both a local and competitive rival.
While some Chelsea fans could be forgiven for considering that to be a burnt bridge, Willian is thought to be keen on repairing the relationship, with the soon to be 33-year-old wanting to return to SW6.

While Sky Sports do report that Willian wants to return to Chelsea this summer, there is no suggestion that Chelsea would be willing to facilitate it.
He is past his best, with there being a reason why the two parties were unable to agree an extension to his contract last summer. Marina Granovskaia is too shrewd a negotiator to bow to the expensive demands of ageing players.
Sky Sports also note of interest from other unnamed European clubs, while Inter Miami are also being linked. Willian will not be short of options if, as you’d expect, Chelsea have no intention of taking him back.
