Arsenal win after five-goal thriller at the Emirates🔴⚪

Arsenal defeated Manchester United at the Emirates after an incredible game of football to widen their gap at the top of the table.

After a clash of titans at the Emirates, Arsenal has come out on top and are now five points clear at the summit of the table, with a game in hand over their nearest rivals.

The game started off like most of the Gunner’s games, in a hurry.

Arsenal was out of the traps in a flash and had their opponents pedalling backwards as they reigned down attack after attack. Martin Odegaard almost found the back of the net within the first five minutes but his shot dribbled wide.

Then against the run of play, Marcus Rashford popped up with an absolute thunderbolt of a shot from 25 yards out.

Eddie Nketiah then levelled the score with a point-blank header after some questionable defending from Man United.

Arsenal was on top going into halftime but the game felt even. Arsenal started the second half as they did the first, electric and didn’t take them long to find the back of the net again.

Bukayo Saka, who has been a menace all game, popped up on the edge of the area and rifled a beauty into the bottom corner.

But the game was far from over. After a scramble in the penalty area, Lisandro Martinez was able to nod a header over Aaron Ramsdale who uncharacteristically spilt the corner.


What a game and what a result for Arsenal.
