Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Everton forward Richarlison as a replacement for their ageing attacking duo.
The Gunners have made definitive forward strides under Mikel Arteta, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette are quite clearly past their best.
Arsenal ought to be looking to bring in some new blood in attack at the earliest possible opportunity, with Everton’s Richarlison reportedly having been identified as a target.
Richarlison netted a hat-trick against Arsenal on Monday night. Unfortunately for the Brazilian, just one of them wasn’t ruled out by VAR.
Still, his efficient finishing on the night has clearly left him with admirers in North London, with Fichajes reporting that Arsenal are keen on bringing him in.

Arsenal fans will dread to think how much Everton will demand in exchange for the forward, who is a key figure on Merseyside and for the Brazilian National Team.
That said, if the club are able to get Aubameyang and Lacazette off of their wage bill next summer, that will free up considerable funds which can be reinvested into a more long-term solution.
Richarlison, at just 24-years-old, meets that criteria. Whether Arsenal will be successful in their efforts to prise him away from Everton remains to be seen…
