Is Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka heading to the Love Island villa? No, he’s not, but his doppelganger certainly is.
Xhaka’s career at Arsenal has been a rollercoaster ride.
There has been some suggestion that he would be leaving the Emirates, but Xhaka now looks set to stay for the new season.
Disciplinarian Mikel Arteta appears to have successfully patched up his relationship with the Switzerland international.
What he won’t be best pleased with, though, is that Xhaka appears to be skipping the entirety of Arsenal’s pre-season campaign.
That is, if any of the girls that are heading to Casa Amor are interested in coupling up with him.
This is, of course, tongue in cheek, but a new lad who’s going to be on Love Island looks a HELL of a lot like Granit.

There is no family relations with the Gunners star, at least none that we’re aware of.
That said, with Michael Owen’s daughter in the villa, it’s not impossible there could be further representation from the football community.
We are keeping our fingers tightly crossed for an ACTUAL footballer to walk in there sooner rather than later.
It would be quite unbelievable scenes.
