Arsenal are closing in on the capture of Brighton defender Ben White, according to Sky Sports.
The Gunners’ transfer business is already underway this summer, with Nuno Tavares (Benfica) and Albert Sambi Lokonga (Anderlecht) both having been signed.
Mikel Arteta, Edu and the Kroenkes will be well aware, though, that won’t be sufficient if they hope to force their way back into a European qualification spot.
Arsenal are set to kick on with their efforts to strengthen the squad by drafting in England international Ben White from Brighton, for a reported £50m.

Sky Sports report that White will undergo medical tests with Arsenal on Wednesday of this week ahead of official confirmation of the deal’s completion.
Regardless of whether you think signing White for £50m is good business, Arsenal fans will be happy to see the club showing a little ambition in the market.
It’s not often you see a club without the promise of European football splashing the cash in that nature. Perhaps the Kroenkes are attempting to win a few fans over.
