Both Manchester City and Arsenal were charged by the FA after they were alleged to be in breach of the rules during their Premier League clash on Wednesday.
The Gunners were usurped from the Premier League throne earlier this week after Pep Guardiola’s side dug out a 3-1 win at the Emirates.
Arsenal is now second in the league, level on points with Manchester City but has one game in hand on the Manchester team.

The game was a fiery affair with both sides not shy of getting in the referee’s face but this has resulted in a FA charge for the two clubs.
This is the first charge of the season for Manchester City and incredibly, the third charge for Arsenal after they protested the awarding of a penalty that was eventually turned over.
