Antrim were once upon a time a strong hurling county and are they coming good again as they defeated Clare today on a scoreline of 1-21 to 0-22 in division 1B. The last time Antrim reached the All-Ireland final was back in 1989 against Cork. Wouldn’t it be great to see another team come good in the Hurling Championship, seen as there are such few. The GAA gets back underway this weekend as restrictions have been slowly easing over the past number of weeks. Will we see fans back in the stadiums this summer? Wouldn’t you love to see a full 80,000 full stadium for the All-Ireland finals this summer. At this stage GAA fans are just glad to see hurling and Gaelic football on the way back.
