Anthony Martial missed an absolute sitter early on for Manchester United in the early kick-off against Everton.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made the decision to shuffle his pack heading into the clash with the Toffees.

The Red Devils, rather nonsensically, were pencilled in for the 12:30pm kick-off on Saturday, despite having played in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

As a result, Solskjaer made changes and dropped Cristiano Ronaldo to the bench, starting Anthony Martial on the left flank in his place.

Martial will have felt as though he has a point to prove, having lost his spot in the Man Unites starting XI, but got off to a pretty torrid start in the contest.

The France international had a golden opportunity to give Man United the lead with a back-post header, but got his jump horribly wrong and sent the ball harmlessly wide.
