🚨 Anthony Joshua’s latest training video gets fans talking

Anthony Joshua is on a four fight win streak.

Since being relieved of his heavyweight titles to Oleksandr Usyk in back-to-back defeats the British fighter has been on the comeback trail.

2023 was a successful year for ‘AJ’ as he beat Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius and Otto Wallin.

But his most explosive performance was his last outing in February against Francis Ngannou when he brutally knocked out the MMA star in just two rounds.

This was in stark contrast to the WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury who was dropped by Ngannou and sneaked home a controversial split-decision victory.

Joshua’s latest training video has sparked debate online. In the clip he can be seen throwing some head kicks at the pads.

This has led to some fight fans suggesting that he may rematch Ngannou in an MMA bout.

One said: ‘Rematch with Ngannou but MMA this time.’

Another added: ‘AJ is probably the only heavyweight that could compete in MMA, maybe Dubois as well.’

A third dismissed the idea of Joshua fighting in the cage and replied: ‘People thinking AJ is gonna jump in the cage just because he throws a s**** kick in the gym are mad. Small brains working overtime.’

A fourth told Joshua: ‘Yeah buddy stick to boxing your good at that.’

Unlike many of the MMA community Demetrious Johnson has backed Anthony Joshua to beat Francis Ngannou should he cross over to the mixed martial arts world.

He explained: “Does Anthony Joshua beat Francis Ngannou in an MMA fight? I think he does and here’s the reason why — I think it would just be another striking match.”

“AJ understands his distance. He has better hands than Francis and he can make make Francis whiff and miss again. Unless Francis is going to change his tactics and clinch him and wrestle him… But AJ is very athletic. He is smaller and more limber. I think he’d be able to stuff the shot and give it to Francis Ngannou.”

More likely for Joshua is a September Wembley showdown with the winner of Daniel Dubois vs Filip Hrgovic.
