🚨 Anthony Joshua’s ex-trainer slams Francis Ngannou fight

Robert Garcia claims a fight between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou shouldn’t be sanctioned.

The Brit was looking for a new ‘big name’ opponent after his prospective fight with Deontay Wilder was derailed after ‘The Bronze Bomber’ suffered a defeat to Joseph Parker and it appears he will now fight Francis Ngannou after it was confirmed it was a ‘done deal’ by his promoter, Eddie Hearn.

Francis Ngannou very nearly shocked the WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury in his professional boxing debut, dropping him but losing on a split-decision.

But ‘AJ’s old coach Robert Garcia isn’t impressed and doesn’t think it should happen.

Speaking to ESNEWS said he said: “It’s an easy fight for Joshua. Those fights shouldn’t even be sanctioned.

“Ngannou, fighting the heavyweight champion of the world, Fury, it shouldn’t have been sanctioned.

“It’s a disrespect to boxing not to train one single day for that fight. It was embarrassing.”
