Johnny Nelson believes Anthony Joshua is taking a huge risk in fighting Francis Ngannou.
The British heavyweight faces the MMA star on March 8th in an intriguing clash in Saudi Arabia.
The former UFC champion made his debut against Tyson Fury last October and very nearly shocked the world by embarrassing the ‘Gypsy King’ and only suffering a narrow defeat.

Speaking to TalkSPORT Nelson has claimed the risk vs reward means ‘AJ’ has taken a huge gamble in taking the fight.
He explained: “I said the risk/reward doesn’t add up. If I was Eddie Hearn, if I was Joshua’s promoter, I wouldn’t have taken the fight because the risk/reward doesn’t weigh up.”
“If you lose to him, where are you gonna go from there? What’s it gonna do to AJ’s head, thinking, ‘I just lost to this guy, what’s going on here?’”
Do you agree with Nelson? Or will Anthony Joshua do what Tyson Fury could not and win convincingly.
