Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois collide on September 21st at Wembley Stadium.

The British heavyweights will battle it out for Dubois’ IBF title as part of Riyadh season.

In 2017 rumours came emerged of ‘AJ’ being knocked out at the GB Performance Institute by a young British heavyweight that turned out to be Daniel Dubois.

Frank Warren then told the story to TalkSPORT when he revealed that Dubois had flattened Joshua.

He said: “I first heard about Dynamite when I was told an 18-year-old lad had knocked out Anthony Joshua.

“This was in 2016, the same year AJ became a heavyweight world champion. Dubois was a boy and he knocked out a man in Joshua – a six-foot-six man at that!”

Ahead of their clash the former world champion was asked about the infamous sparring session.

“He hit me so hard I went to the moon and came back,” Joshua sarcastically replied in an interview with Box Nation.

He continued: “A lot of people around that time were talking about how they did this and that to AJ in sparring, none of it is true.

“[They were] good [spars]. The boy can fight, I told you the boy can fight. That’s why I can’t underestimate him because he is a serious competitor.”

Who will come out on top at Wembley Stadium? Let us know in the comments.
