Anthony Joshua has been offered two BIG fights with his compatriots after his proposed battle with Tyson Fury collapsed.
Joshua’s team were locked in fight talks with Fury, with the intention of finally staging the bout that everyone in England, and across the world, wanted to see.
However, it became clear pretty quickly that Fury had no intention of actually fighting Joshua and was instead planning on pursuing alternative, easier options.
That has left Joshua without an opponent for his proposed redemption bout, but according to the Mirror, there are indeed options on the table for him.
The report claims that Joshua has been offered fights with fellow countrymen Daniel Dubois and Joe Joyce for his proposed December 17th return date.
Both fighters would pose risks to Joshua, especially on the back of two defeats, but he needs to remain active if he is serious about staying in contention for world titles.
Joyce would be the bigger name and the bigger fight, the ideal opportunity for Joshua to reaffirm his credentials to the world. It’d also be a risk, and is it one he’s willing to take?
