🚨 Anthony Joshua names the fighter that hit him the hardest

Anthony Joshua faces the big punching Francis Ngannou on Friday.

Joshua will be looking to avoid embarrassment and win his fourth bout in a row since back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.

In the past he’s been hurt by Dillian Whyte and dropped four times by Andy Ruiz Jr when he suffered his first professional defeat.

But he picked Wladimir Klitschko as the man that hit the hardest and with a record of 53KOs in his 64 wins it comes as no surprise.

In their 2017 meeting at Wembley stadium, the Brit was downed in round 5 by a huge shot from the Ukrainian but somehow managed to comeback and win via an 11th round stoppage.

Speaking to Pound For Pound Podcast he said:

β€œWho’s hit me the hardest? Yeah, Klitschko.”

β€œI was gonna say Ruiz, but when he hit me that was like a concussion on the back of my head.

β€œWhen I went in with Klitschko, yeah, I just knew this could go two ways.

β€œI could either win or I’m gonna be laid out on my back. You know when you get carried out on a stretcher?”
