Angel Di Maria informed during PSG match his family were involved in ‘extremely violent’ robbery

PSG attacker Angel Di Maria was informed during his side’s Ligue 1 match against Nantes that his family were involved in what has been described as an ‘extremely violent’ robbery.

PSG’s sporting director Leandro was spotted taking a phonecall in the stands before pulling manager Mauricio Pochettinho to one side.

The Argentinian manager then quickly substituted Di Maria with the pair seen heading straight down the tunnel.

According to RMC Sport‘s Loic Tanzi, the star was informed that his family were embroiled in a robbery, described as ‘extremely violent’.

Following the relayed information, Di Maria was then seen leaving the Parc des Princes stadium.

This is not the first time Di Maria and his family have been victims of a robbery – The winger suffered a previous robbery whilst playing for Manchester United.

It is not yet known the condition of his family members, but we can only hope they came away from the dreadful incident unharmed.
