Andy Robertson was sent off during Tottenham vs Liverpool after a rash challenge on Emerson Royal.
In a game that has had absolutely EVERYTHING, you could have predicted that there’d be a red card coming as things got increasingly heated as we approached the full-time whistle.
Though the referee and VAR both chose to overlook Harry Kane’s wrongdoings in the first half of the contest, Andy Robertson was not so fortunate – with him not being the England captain.
Robertson swung through Spurs right-back Emerson, a foul which was adjudged to be a yellow card by the on-pitch official before that was upgraded to a red via a VAR review.
Is this a red card, for you, or has the game gone?

Either way, it is inarguably not as bad as the challenge that Kane committed on Robertson himself during the first half. There is a complete absence of consistency in Premier League officiating.
